Facilities
ROSS E. TEMPLETON PHYSICAL EDUCATION CENTER
The center bears the name of the late Ross E. Templeton ’24, distinguished alumnus and business leader of Charlotte and Clinton, who was a life-long devotee of PC sports. The Furman Pinson Arena seats more than 2,000 spectators. In 2000 Mr. and Mrs. Robert Staton provided a new floor for the facility. Ample classrooms, multi-purpose space, and equipment serve the physical education instruction program.
Medical Staff
There will be a Certified Trainer on-site for the duration of camp to address any injuries or illnesses.
What to Bring:
• Basketball sneakers
• Comfortable clothing (i.e. basketball shorts and tshirt)
• A water bottle (water stations will be available in each facility for refills)
Health and Safety
Our greatest priority is the health and safety of our camp participants and staff. We will continue to closely monitor health and safety guidelines and set camp policies following the guidance of the CDC. At this time, masks are optional.
• Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should not report to camp until after receiving a negative test.
• Any day camp participant who presents COVID-19 symptoms while on campus will be removed from participation and must have a parent or designated adult caregiver pick them up.
Cancellation Policy
For a cancellation that occurs more than two weeks before the start of your camp session, please contact camp administrators.
